Black single crystals of the new title compound are prepared from mixtures of Ba2Ti13O22, BaCO3, and B2O3 in a mass ratio of 1:5:5 using BaCO3—B2O3 as a flux (Mo crucible, Ar, 1423 K, 10 h).
