Background:We previously reported that the fecal microflora of infants with cow's milk hypersensitivity who were fed casein-hydrolyzed formula supple- mented with raffinose (New-MA-1) was normalized.The purpose of this study was to elucidate whether oral adminis- tration of bifidobacteriainfluenced the intestinal microflora of infants with cow's milk hypersensitivity with atopic dermatitis who were fed New-MA-1 and whether their allergic symptoms were thereby improved.
