Spermatogenesis and ultrastructure of spermatozoon of Pardosa astrigera, a wolf spider, are described. The spermatogenesis of the species shares some characteristics with other spiders. But there are some new data in the species studied, mainly; 1) the occurrence of outer epithelial cell around the testis, spermatogoniunl and spermalocyyle; 2) (luring the spermiogenesis two centrioles lying parallel to each other early but perpendicularly later; 3 ) a microlubular manchette around the nucleus but under the cell membrane later, and no microtubule in mature sperm; 4) no flagellar tunnel and mitochondria but with some dense vacuoles and a large cisterna; 5) acrosomal vacuole cone-shaped and embedded partly in the nucleus; and 6) a sperm packaging pattern of cleistospermia.
