Conference and Workshops on the R-Processes (Repairing, Rehabilitation, Retrofitting, Renovation, Reconstruction andRebuilding) of America's Infrastructure

A series of conferences and workshops are proposed to assess the state of the art, the state of practice, and the needs for research and development in North,Central and South America, and the Caribbean. The fields of Repairing, Rehabilitation, Retrofitting, Renovation, Reconstruction, and Rebuilding of Americas' infrastructure will be covered. One conference per year for two years are proposed in one of the following topics: Low Rise Building Structures, Highway Pavements, Bridges, Soil Related structures, Live Public Services Infrastructure Systems. Topics to be selected with NSF concurrence. A three day conference with public attendance will assess the state of the art in each specific topic. A fourth day workshop for the speakers only will assess the needs for specific research and development of common interest to participating institutions, agencies and countries.
