Dr. Raymond Ethan Goldstein has been awarded a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Chemistry. Dr. Goldstein received his doctoral degree from Cornell University under the supervision of Professor N. W. Ashcroft. He intends to continue his research at The University of Chicago under the sponsorship of Professor Gene F. Mazenko. Dr. Goldstein's area of postdoctoral research is statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, and nonequilibrium phenomena in a biophysical context.
