Conference on Computer Relaying, Virgina Tech, Blackburg, VASeptember 29-30, 1988

这次会议的目的是促进大学和工业研究人员之间的互动，集中电力系统研究人员对计算机继电保护这一新兴技术的关注，并为讨论新的研究方向提供一个论坛。这次会议是国际性的，既有欧洲的，也有日本的。这次会议第一次举行(1987年10月)，取得了非凡的成功。

The purpose of this conference is to promote interaction between university and industrial researchers, to focus the attention of power system researcher on computer relaying as an emerging technology and, to provide a forum for discussing new research directions. The conference is international in its flavor with both European and Japanese. The first time this conference was held (October, 1987) it was an exceptional success.
