This Special Minority Award will give the graduate student additional flexibility in pursuing her graduate studies and research initiation in Physics. Her research interests include during the first year core physics in Classical Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, and Mathematical Methods, fields which are strong at the University of Minnesota. This award will strengthen minority research participation in Physics.
