This grant is for travel support for selected students to participate in a student paper competition at the 23rd congress of the International Association of Hydraulic Research, to be held in Ottawa in August of 1989. The competition is for the best paper authored by students alone, and is open to both undergraduate and graduate students at U S institutions.//
