This award from the Office of Special Projects of the Division of Chemistry provides leveraged funds to enable Professor P. N. Krishnan of Coppin State College to attend the International Conference on Chemical Protection which will be held in Umea, Sweden, on June 11-16, 1989. This NSF award is being matched by an equal amount from the President of Coppin State College. This award contributes to the infrastructure of science by providing assistance to a minority institution faculty member to enhance his scientific capability, become more research active, and thereby impact more positively on the production of minority chemistry majors.
