This grant is for International Travel Support. An invited lecture is to be given by the grantee at the XIXth. Symposium on Advanced Problems and Methods in Fluid, Mechanics, Warsaw, Poland, September 3-8, 1989. The grantee will also act as session chairman at the symposium. In addition, he is to spend ten days in pursuit of a collaborative research effort in Warsaw at no additional expense to this grant. The topic of the lecture and collaborative research is the effect of ambient fluid stratification on the wake characteristics of blunt obstacles.//
