This award will support in part the Fifth Meeting of the American Physical Society Division of Particles and Fields; Rice University; January 3-6, 1990. This is a meeting with an international character with the participation of speakers from the U.S., Switzerland (CERN), Japan (KEK) and the USSR (Lebedev). All aspects of the field of high energy physics and astrophysics, will be discussed with a special emphasis of results from the various high energy physics laboratories from around the world and a discussion of the future laboratory (SSC) and future accelerators.
