This grant supports one half of the inside-U.S. expenses for hosting from May 26 through June 10, 1990, the five-member State Seismological Bureau delegation from China under the US/PRC Earthquake Studies Protocol. The trip included meetings in New York, meetings and a signing ceremony in Washington, D.C., and meetings and a field trip along the San Andreas fault in California. This research is a component of the National Earthquake Hazard Reduction Program.
