9312944 Lacy This is an ward to provide support for the applicant's participation in the International Conference on Chemistry for Protection of the Environment to be held at the High Institute of Public Health in Alexandria, Egypt. The conference will address physicochemical processes and aspects of chemistry and chemical engineering as related to the aquatic environment. Sessions are scheduled on treatment processes, closed- loop systems, fate of chemical pollutants when subjected to environmental stresses, analytical procedures relating to quality considerations of surface and groundwater. The applicant is a member of the organizing committee, will present an invited paper, and will chair the International Roundtable and a technical session.
