9317939 GHAUSI This is an international travel grant to Dr. M.S. Ghausi, Dean, College of Engineering, University of California, Davis. Dr. Ghausi will attend the forthcoming International Congress of Engineering Deans ands Industry Leaders, to be held in Paris, France, June 23-25, 1993 and make a presentation titled "Preparing Engineers for the Twenty-First Century. The conference has the following four themes: 1. The development of mechanisms for university-industry cooperation. 2. Preparation of engineers for effective contributions to the needs of national economics. 3. International cooperation-the new dimension. 4. Quality engineering training in developing countries.
