Proposal to Support Student Research in the MSU High School Honors Science Program

9452753 Richmond Michigan State University will initiate a seven week, multidisciplinary, residential High School Honors Science Program (HSHSP) for 30 high ability and high potential students entering grades 11 and 12 from across the nation. During the seven-week period the students will engage in independent research in the laboratory of a Michigan State University faculty member. Additional activities will include seminars, discussions of career possibilities and planning, discussions and activities focused on ethical issues in scientific research, and field trips.
