9452835 Brennan The American Society (ACS) will initiate an eight-week, summer residential and commuter, Young Scholars Project in chemistry for 45 students entering grades 11 and 12. The Young Scholars Partnership program of the American Chemical Society (ACS) involves students in activities in collaboration with the following institutions: Drury College (MO), Florida International University, North Carolina Section ACS, and Pittsburg State University (KS). The program provides a comprehensive experience in scientific research that includes instruction on scientific methods, individualized scientific research, and an exploration of scientific ethics.
