Third International Symposium on Civil Infrastructure Systems (CIS) Research: Intelligent Renewal

The project is to organize an International Symposium on Civil Infrastructure System Research: Intelligent Renewal. The objective of the symposium is to provide a forum for identifying and comparing common problems for exchanging ideas on recent and future developments, for promoting international cooperative research, and for formulating action plans in the area of civil infrastructure systems. The symposium will cover research issues in the areas of: structural analysis and new systems design; construction materials in CIS renewal; transportation and other lifelines CIS; sensoring, monitoring and control; management, maintenance, and rehabilitation; historical, social and economic considerations.
