9703533 Walden This award to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution provides shipboard technical support, shore-based support, instrument maintenance and instrument calibration for researchers using research vessels Knorr, Atlantis and Oceanus, which are operated by WHOI as part of the University National Oceanographic Laboratory System research fleet. Support is also provided to WHOI to maintain shared-use instrumentation operated by Sea Education Association, Inc. The technical support awarded here will assist LSF-funded ocean researchers conduct a diverse suite of oceanographic studies throughout the world oceans in 1997. ***
