The 1998 Aspen Winter Physics Conference will devote the week of January 4-January 10, 1998, to a conference on Gravitational Waves and their Detection. The Aspen Conference provides, for approximately 65 participants, six days of close interaction where problems and recent results can be discussed in detail. It provides one of the principal mechanisms for establishing close international collaboration in the design, construction and operation of gravitational wave detectors.
