ABSTRACT "FAMU Connection to vBNS via Florida Gigapop" Florida A&M University PI: Sterlin Adams ANI-9810621 This award is made under the high performance connections portion of ANIR's "Connections to the Internet" announcement, NSF 96-64. It provides partial support for two years for an OC-3 connection to the vBNS. Applications include projects in interactive simulation environments, distributed database processing, computational fluid dynamics, distributed real-time computing, and multi-media language interfaces. Collaborating institutions include the University of Central Florida, University of Houston-Downtown, Grambling State, University of Minnesota and Florida International University.
