Quantum Coherence

我们计划继续和扩大我们对量子理论基本方面的研究，一方面着眼于实验应用，另一方面获得可能有助于修正现有物理理论的理论见解。我们将尝试(1)获得具有实验结果的新的量子效应，(2)解决我们先前发现的可能导致新效应的效应所产生的悖论，(3)更深入地了解量子测量问题，特别是它与量子引力的可能关系，以及(4)研究量子几何，特别是它与超对称性的关系。

We plan to continue and expand our investigations of the fundamental aspects of quantum theory, with a view towards experimental applications on the one hand and obtaining theoretical insights which may be helpful in modifying the present physical theories on the other hand. We shall try to (1) obtain new quantum effects with experimental consequences, (2) resolve paradoxes arising from effects we have previously discovered, which may lead to new effects, (3) obtain greater insight into the quantum measurement problem, particularly its possible relation to quantum gravity, and (4) investigate quantum geometry, in particular its relation to supersymmetry.
