0085095Epstein The purpose of this grant is to explore the possibilities of greatlyexpaniding a successful outreach program developed at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at California State University - Los Angeles, known at the University Preparatory Program (UPP). This effort will include data gathering and making contact with potential partners in universities, high schools, and corporations in greater Los Angeles and the southwestern United States.
