IIT RET Site - Corps of Educators and Workshop

This award provides funding for the support of a one year Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) Site program entitled, "IIT RET Site-Corps of Educators and Workshop," at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT)under the direction of Drs. Alexander J. Flueck and Ali Cinar. The IIT RET Site will provide an in-depth hands-on research experience for 10, K-14 teachers called the "Corps of Educators," during an 8-week period in the summer of 2004. At the end of the summer, the IIT RET Site will host a workshop in which the Corps will present their modules and train 30 of their peers on the use of the modules in a K-14 mathematics or science classroom.
