Mutter0517854Abstract This award provides support for a workshop titled '3-D Seismic Reflection Imaging: a new opportunity for Marine Geoscience Reserach'. The workshop will explore the great breadth of new and emerging areas of scientific inquiry that can be tackled uniquely using 3D imaging, including high-resolution approaches, and discuss possible 4D applications as well. The questions explored will include those fundamental to mid-ocean ridge studies, continental margins, and IODP objectives.
