Polar Research using the Community Climate System Model

Abstract This grant is to support an Associate Scientist in the Climate and Global Dynamics Division at NCAR. This Associate Scientist will provide software engineering and diagnostic assistance for the Polar Climate Working Group and polar scientific community involved in the use and analysis of the Community Climate System Model. The intellectual merit of the proposal is that the Associate Scientist will enable the science projects of the Polar Climate Working Group to come to fruition, and will participate in some of these projects.
