ABSTRACTThis proposal is for a short meeting of representatives of Earth-surface (critical zone)centers and community efforts, to discuss and coordinate plans and initiatives related toNSF Earth-science cyberinfrastructure (CI). The meeting will include presentations byNSF leadership as well as by the various groups about their current and planned researchrelated to NSF CI. It will include discussion of actual and potential requests for supportfor observatories and natural laboratories. The meeting will last for one day and will beheld at NSF headquarters in Arlington.
