The award is to organize a satellite workshop in conjunction with the July 2006 Botany meetings in Chico, CA. The workshop will be held July 29-30. 2006 at California State University Chico, Chico, CA. The focus of the workshop is twofold, for one it will addresses the process of becoming a database provider in a distributed network of collections, and then second, discuss digital imaging issues and morphology that are becoming major efforts in many herbaria.
