This central project will provide the ELITE research group participants with two required methodologies. Firstly, we will provide access to well-established heart and skin transplant models in mice. By centralising our collective expertise in these technically challenging microsurgical methods, the KFO working group will be greatly strengthened. Secondly, the group will also be strengthened by the provision of a central flow cytometry facility. As the need for flow cytometry grows on a continuous basis at our institution, access to such instrumentation is increasingly restricted. All projects require access to a polychromatic flow cytometer.
