EDUCAUSE proposes to host the third summit meeting to be held in the Washington, D.C. region. EDUCAUSE proposes to play a role as facilitator for program content in the by establishing and facilitating the meetings of a planning committee made up of appropriate members of the community. In addition, EDUCAUSE proposes to invite and register program par-ticipants at the behest of the planning committee, manage all opera-tional details of the meeting and hotel, and edit and publish the resulting report and recommendations. Coordinating links to the EDUCAUSE/Internet2 Computer and Network Security Task Force, which has similar goals and objectives in the college and university side of the Re-search and Education community would also be provided by EDUCAUSE. The meeting will be held in February, 2007
