The Research Training Group is attended by doctoral students working at the SFB who are currently engaged in post-graduate research. The Training Group offers its attendees a well-structured doctoral research programme providing them with interdisciplinary competence in manuscript research. It includes lectures on historical and comparative manuscript research as well as workshops on methodological questions coupled with events of a practical nature to prepare students for working in specific professions.
