项目摘要

本研究は、音楽芸術と言語芸術におけるフィクション（虚構）としての時間軸上で展開される《語り手》と《代理話者》の構造を比較分析し、分野横断的な美学的構造基盤を打ち出すことを目的に定めている。また、文学作品内では作者は架空の《語り手》を設定し、読者は《語り手》の語りを現実時間に聞くという双方向的構造が成立するが、音楽作品は楽譜を再現する「演奏者」という《代理話者》が介在することによって、虚構の時間が再び現実の時間へと引き戻される現象が起こる点に着目して研究を進めている。2022年度は、クリスティ・マグワイア（Christy Mag Uidhir）が“FAILED-ART AND FAILED ART-THEORY”（Australasian Journal of Philosophy Volume 88、2010 - Issue 3 pp. 381-400）で提唱したFailed-Artの概念を音楽芸術に適用する可能性について考察をおこなった。マグワイアはFailed-Artの前提として①芸術＝意図によって導かれた行為の産物であり、②意図的指示行動には成功と失敗を認める、としている。つまり作者と鑑賞者双方向とも芸術作品に到達するには、意図的な行動が介在する。この学説に拠る見解を音楽音響芸術研究2022年度研究大会や日本学校音楽教育実践学会2022年度東京・関東支部例会で口頭発表した。また令和4年度はマグワイアの芸術作品における“意図”の扱いに示唆を受け、音楽作品における“意図”の存在様態に注目し、仮想的意図主義（Hypothetical Intentionalism）に立った観点から《A階層》：｛作曲者→〔記譜／意図〕→作品｝＝作品制作体系と、《B階層》：｛鑑賞者〔解釈〕2→〔演奏／解釈1〕→作品｝＝演奏・観賞体系の2階層に分割した音楽作品の成立モデルを確立することができた。
