项目摘要

本研究の目的は、インプロ（即興演劇）におけるジェンダー・バイアス克服を目指して米国で考案された上演形式「ザ・ベクデルテスト」（BT）の構造及び背景にある理念を明らかにするとともに、日本において継続的にBT実践を行うことによるインプロ演者の変容過程を解明することである。2年目となる2022年度も、昨年度立ち上げた「インプロとジェンダー探究プロジェクト」をアクションリサーチの基盤として実践研究を継続することができた。同プロジェクトの構成員によるオンライン定例会（稽古）を開催し、そこにBTの開発に携わり現在もBTを実践し続けている海外のインプロ実践者5名を招聘した。加えて、今年度は、ジェンダーをめぐる文献や映画を扱う学習会も定期的に開催した。その結果、日本におけるジェンダー研究を概観するとともに、BTの具体的な実践方法や、インプロの演技や演出方法についての理解を深めることができた。以上の実践成果の発表の場として、7月、11月、2023年1月、3月に一般公開パフォーマンス（公演）をオンラインにて開催した。それらを踏まえて、パフォーマンス開催ごとに構成員の個別インタビュー調査を行い、稽古・公演を通して感じたことを省察する語りを抽出し、実践を通した変容過程を辿ってきた。研究成果の報告としては、日本教育学会に論文が採択された（「インプロ上演形式「ザ・ベクデルテスト」における男性演者の「恐れ」とは何か？：「弱さ」と「加害者性」のはざまで」）ほか、日本社会教育学会（9月）及び日本質的心理学会（10月）にて口頭発表を、日本質的心理学会（10月）にてシンポジウムを、表象文化論学会（11月）にてワークショップをそれぞれ企画・開催した。
