2022年度の研究の目的は、構造特徴の消去のメカニズムの本質の解明であった。ホモ・サピエンス脳の言語計算システムのアルゴリズムには音でも意味でもない構造（形態統辞：格、φ（人称、数、性））素性の消去メカニズムが存在する。構造素性消去の機構である内的結合（internal merge）により二股枝分かれ構造が形成される。当該年度は、２本の論文、Internal merge: Why does it work this way? A matrix syntactic approach to argument chain (Open Journal of Modern Linguistics, 12(3), 336-365, June 2022, 査読あり)、及び、Non-referentialist CHL as error minimization: Toward a valuation-free Agree model (St. Andrew's University Bulletin of the Research Institute 48(3), 79-104, March, 2023, 査読なし)を発表した。前者は、二股枝分かれ構造の幾何学的本質について、重ね合わせ現象を核心とする量子力学が援用する数学ツール（名詞範疇素性を実数１、動詞範疇素性を虚数iに変換したもの）を利用し、線形代数学の枠組みで考察した。言語構造は収縮、拡大、不変の三力のバランスを取っていることを数学的に解明した。将来の生成統辞論と数学の統合の為の基礎研究と位置付けられる。後者は、言語システムは母なる自然が創造したエラー最小化（誤差補正）システムであるという仮説を提案し、経験的証拠を挙げて検証した。また、名詞のφは解釈不能素性と論じ、標準的な値付与（valuation）を基盤とする分析の問題を指摘した。
