项目摘要

本研究は、中世室町期の抄物のうち、先行する複数の抄物を類聚・編纂した「集成抄物」について、書誌学的・文献学的調査と言語事象の観察を行う。成立経緯や継承・受容の様相を明らかにし、言語資料としての性格を再考して利用を促進することを目的としている。「集成抄物」は、抄物の成立時期半ばの1530年代以降、五山僧の抄物について作成されるようになり、織豊期には、公家や有力大名にも注釈書として広く受容されたため、伝来の確かな写本や良質の古活字版が現存する点、言語資料として貴重である。今年度も前年度に引き続き、「笑雲清三抄古文真宝抄」を中心に、「古文真宝後集」の抄物について、石川武美記念図書館成簀堂文庫、市立米沢図書館、真言宗御室派総本山仁和寺、静嘉堂文庫、東洋文庫、東京大学文学部国語学研究室、名古屋市蓬左文庫において、所蔵される抄物の書誌学的・文献学的調査を行った。また、抄物の言語事象及び、言語資料としての性格について、研究代表者の博士論文以降の成果をまとめた著書を刊行した（『抄物の言語と資料―中世室町期の形容詞派生と文法変化―』23年2月、くろしお出版刊）。特に、最善本が明らかでなかった「笑雲清三抄古文真宝抄」に関しては、第129回国語語彙史研究会研究発表（22年9月）において、名古屋市蓬左文庫蔵写本が、同抄を編纂した笑雲清三〔生卒年不詳。抄物作成期は永正・大永頃〕の学統に連なる文英清韓〔1568-1624〕が所持したことが確実であることを、当該資料の全巻に清韓自筆書入れが認められることに基づき、報告した。『同志社国文学』98号所収の（23年03月刊）小論では、清韓書入れ全文を翻刻すると共に、当該資料が方広寺鐘銘事件に際し、徳川家に没収された文英清韓の蔵書の中の一書である可能性が高く、抄物の伝本が、言語史資料のみならず、政治史、文化史資料となる可能性を指摘した。
