项目摘要

2022年度(2年目)は、新たに作成した50問(C・D問題)のリスニングテストを大学(3校)と高校(1校)で実施し、大学1－4年生(191人)と高校2－3生(129人)からデータを得ることができた。また、母語話者英語と非母語話者英語の聞き取り難易度の違いを明らかにするため、約6か月間隔を空け、59人の大学生に1回目は非母語話者による音声を、2回目は母語話者による音声を用いC・D問題の聞き取りテストを実施した。さらに、なまりに対する肯定的な態度育成のための予備調査として、大学生103人に英語や英語使用者、なまりに関する認識調査を行った。加えて、当初2023年度に予定していた上級者向け教材の開発にも着手した。100語程度の文章を聞き、その内容について答えるセンター試験リスニングテスト問題30問の再現のため、新たに非母語話者10人による吹き込みを行った。非母語話者は既に録音に参加した20か国以外で、日本人が接する可能性がより高い国の出身者から選んだ。また、当初の計画には含まれていなかったが、既に公開済みのA・B問題50問を使って2つのデータ集めを行った。一つは、自由な音声選択が学習者の非母語話者英語リスニングに対する抵抗感を低減させるかどうかを調べる調査で、大学生100人に4週間オンライン教材を使ってリスニング練習を行い、母語話者によるオリジナル音声と非母語話者による再現音声のどちらをどのように選んだか、またその感想を報告してもらった。もう一つは、A・B問題50問と、新たに作成したC・D問題50問の難易度比較のため、大学生28人にこれら100問に非母語話者による再現音声を用いて解答してもらった。
