本研究は、「地方史誌」（歴史を中心にある地方領域を記した総合的書物）が近世東アジアの各地域で共通して発生した原因と背景について考察を進め、その議論の世界史的比較の学術基盤形成を図るものである。まず、先行課題「近世東アジアの地方史誌と中国の地方志編纂の影響」の英語論文投稿に関係して、本課題から投稿に関わる費用を支出した。現在、小二田章編『地方史誌研究の現在』（勉誠出版、2023年3月刊行予定）の編輯の最終段階に入っている。該編著では、全体を総括する「序論　地方史誌学宣言」を執筆し、地方史誌研究の起点となることを期待している。また、東アジア地方史誌の紹介と、各地研究者（中国・韓国・香港・台湾）への呼びかけとして、学会報告「東アジア地方史誌比較研究の形成」（第14回東アジア人文学フォーラム、Zoomオンライン会議、2022年12月10日）を行った。さらに、報告者主催にてシンポジウム「地方史誌研究の現在２」（2023年3月13日、Zoomオンライン会議）を開催し、議論を行った。基調報告「「地方史誌」から考える」を行い、韓国・ヴェトナムの研究者など、各地研究者との意見交換を行うことができた。該シンポジウムの成果を基礎に、論文集『地方史誌研究の現在２』を、2024年５月刊行予定として計画している。加えて、中国清朝初期の地方史誌とジェンダー言説の関係を検討し、論文「「地方志」における「列女」―清代の歴史家、章学誠を中心に」（『多元文化』12号、2023年３月）、2021年度の「宋代」言説の検討を加筆修正した「試論時間維度層面的“大宋史”―以知杭州蘇軾爲例」（『宋学研究』3輯、浙江大学宋学研究中心、2022年８月）を刊行した。さらに、大元大明研究会の公開報告会にて、水上遼「『オルジェイトゥ史』に描かれる14世紀のイランとユーラシア」の講演を企画し、コメントを行った。
