池尾の天野為之伝の和文原稿については、2022年10月に出版社より勧められて加筆し、2023年3月に加筆原稿を提出した。5月現在、9月出版に向けて準備が進められている。アメリカ人の研究書に対して、オランダの専門誌向けに書評を書き、欧米の経済学の相違を観察することができた。日本経済思想史学会と台湾中央研究院台湾史研究所との合同シンポジウム（テーマ「経済思想と産業経営からみた台湾―18世紀から20世紀－」）は2022年8月からさらに延期されたものの、現時点では、8月に東京で２日間にわたるシンポジウムを開催することになっている。2023年2月にオンラインで顔合わせ会議を実施し、自己紹介とシンポジウム論文の概要について伝えあった。本プロジェクトメンバーは、日本経済思想史学会の会員の一部と協力して英文書籍 A History of Japanese Economic Thought の準備を進めたところ、企画案がイギリスの出版社の査読をとおり、2022年8月に契約を結ぶに至っている。16世紀以降、400年の歴史をカバーできそうで、本プロジェクトの一環に位置づけることにした。池尾は貝原益軒の家道訓や楽訓に注目して、彼の家計管理や幸福思想が西洋の経済思想とよく似ていることを日本経済思想史学会の例会などで発表してきている。大槻は、2022年度は、昨2021年度後半に収集した資料に基づく報告と新たな資料収集を主に行った。前者については、特に山口高等商業学校を対象として、20世紀初頭の日本の地方部における経済学の制度化及び人材の排出について考察した。後者については、1920年代に新たに設置された地方部の高商を対象として、同様に経済学、及び経済学教育の制度化に関する資料を収集した。これらについては、赤松要(名古屋高商)の与えた影響にも注目し、分析の上、次年度に報告する予定である。
