2022 年度にはロシアによるウクライナ侵攻のため、ロシアに直接史料調査に出かけることができなかったものの、夏休みと冬休みの期間を利用し、2 回に渡って旧ソ連のジョージア（グルジア）で史料調査・収集とヒアリング調査を行った。トビリシにあるジョージア国会図書館において現地のロシア語およびジョージア語の新聞を中心として史料調査を行うと同時に、ジョージア国立公文書館で同じくロシア語およびジョージア語の史料調査を行った。また、夏休みの期間中にはジョージアの複数の地方において現地住民を対象とするヒアリング調査を行った。慣れていない地域と異なる言葉の環境のため、十分な成果を上げることはできなかったものの、ロシアのモスクワの公文書館では確認できなかった複数のミクロ的史料を発掘することができた。さらに、歴史公文書がトビリシだけでなく、複数の地方に地域公文書館があり、そこには中央公文書館にはない、よりミクロ的な史料が多く保管してあることを確認できた。例えば、個別コルホーズの 1930 年から 1990 年までの史料が最も興味深いものである。今年度の調査では時間の都合上地方公文書館にまで足を運ぶことができなかったものの、研究のさらなる発展のための重要な手掛かりを見つけたのは大きな成果の一つである。目下、ロシアの研究者も含める 20 世紀ソヴェト農村についての論文集の刊行を準備しているが、論文「ソヴェト農村における作物災害、穀物調達と国営作物保険」を投稿している。さらに、国営火災保険、国営家畜保険と国営作物保険を総括する国営農業保険についての論文の投稿を準備すると同時に、研究の集大成としての書籍を日本語だけでなく英語でも出版する準備をしている。
