長崎県雲仙市小浜温泉旅館保険組合との協議を行い、引き続き、小浜温泉内の小規模旅館において経営者および女将に対するコロナ期のマネジメントに関するインタビュー調査を継続した。インタビュー結果は文字起こしするとともに、KJ図解にそれぞれをまとめた。さらに、雲仙市観光協会の支援を得て、温泉を持たない同市の他地域である国見町の小規模旅館３軒へのインタビュー調査を行った。これらの旅館は固定客が多く、温泉施設を持つ小浜町の旅館とのマネジメントに関する取り組み方針が異なっていることが明らかになった。また、雲仙市と住民数が同規模の大分県臼杵市の観光協会へのインタビューと、同市で極めて高いTRIP ADVISORの評価を受けている旅館の主人へのインタビュー調査を行った。その旅館では従来近隣の造船所への出張者の宿泊を主にしていたが、一組の外国人観光客の宿泊をきっかけとして、外国人観光客が継続的に宿泊する旅館となっている。そこでは、旅館の主人の経歴（経営系の大学出身であるとともに銀座での輸入楽器代理店での勤務経験あり）が戦略決定および実行に大きく影響を及ぼしていることが分かった。以上のことから、経営者の学歴、当該旅館以外での経験の有無、先代との関係性、日ごろから活用している人的ネットワークがコロナという経営激変時のマネージメントに大きく影響していることが明らかになりつつある。これらの結果を受けて、共同研究者とDEA分析のためのアンケート調査において聴取する事項を検討し、アンケート調査票原案を作成した。さらに当該アンケート調査票を一部の旅館経営者にレビューしてもらい、表現方法等を修正した。
