本研究は、医療技術専門人材の現場等の文脈からの学習（現場学習）と医療技術に関する専門性がどのように統合されるのかを明らかにするとともに、後進の指導育成のための支援要因を究明することを目的としている。令和4年度（2022年度）では、前年度に実施した先行研究の整理および収集したアンケート調査票の入力データの分析をもとに論文の投稿を行った（谷口智彦（2022）「救急救命士における上司のコーチング行動の影響」商経学叢第69巻第2号、pp.37-48。2022年12月）。加えて、令和4年度（2022年度）前半には、280名を超える救急救命士を対象とした新たなアンケート調査を実施した。本アンケートでは、職業的アイデンティティ、職業およびキャリアコミットメント、職業的自尊心など職業的価値観に関する項目、またコーチング行動などの支援要因の項目、さらにキャリア成功や職務満足、組織コミットメントなどの成果変数も含めてを尋ねており、本研究全体の目的に合致した内容となっている。なお、令和4年度（2022年度）後半では、実施したアンケート調査についてのデータ入力と整理を行い、分析ができる状態に進めた。
