新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大は、アメリカ・中国・韓国の消費者敵対心（Consumer Animosity）にいかなる影響を与えるものなのか。本研究の目的は、近年、グローバル消費者行動の研究領域で注目されている消費者敵対心研究を、新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大中及び、終息後のアメリカ・中国・韓国の消費者を対象に比較分析し、グローバル・マーケティング・コミュニケーション戦略の提示を試みる。本年度の成果としては、新型コロナ感染症による消費者敵対心に関連した既存の研究成果を整理することと共に、アメリカ消費者を対象に予備調査を実施した。その結果、新型コロナ感染症拡散の責任を発生国だと思うグループほど、消費者敵対心の先行要因とされてきた戦争を要因とした敵対心や経済を要因とした敵対心が高いことが確認された。さらに、消費者エスノセントリズムも、同様の結果だった。
