21年度から、研究を進めているが、何をもって消費者が製品の価値を予見したのか、していないのかを測定するための概念、変数の作成に難航している。22年度には、消費者行動研究における目的設定の理論、制御焦点理論、サービスのマーケティング、とりわけサービスの便益遅延性、顧客資源介在型サービスなどについてレビューし、消費者の購買前のサービスの価値の予見について検討した。さらに学会仲間との議論の中で質的研究の可能性を見出し、事前に価値を予見しにくいプロセス型サービスの消費者のコンセプトの理解のプロセスを示す概念、変数を作成するためにM-GTAを用いることとした。22年度はM-GTAで理論を作成するために、プロセス型の製品・サービスを愛好している消費者にヒヤリング調査を行なった。かかるヒヤリングの対象は、長時間の練習と危険をともなうクラブ活動をしている学生、幼い頃から一つの習い事を続けている社会人、年間に30本以上の舞台鑑賞をする演劇マニアであった。
