2021年度に実施した先行研究レビューおよび認知症地域支援推進員の導入背景や実践報告に関する文献,関連報告書を整理した内容を『認知症の人の持続可能な地域生活に向けた支援の文献的検討－地域支援と認知症地域支援推進員を中心に－』としてまとめた．論文の主な内容として，6 編の文献を分析した結果，認知症の人に関する地域支援はステージに応じて主たる施策や事業があり，それに応じて主な担い手が異なっていた．ステージの特徴に見合った地域支援のあり方とともに，たとえステージが異なっていても，認知症の人に関する地域支援に求められるスキルや実践力の共通点を見出していく必要があると考えられた．さらに各省庁等の報告書等を基に認知症の人に関する地域支援の実践が期待される認知症地域支援推進員の役割を検討した結果，求められる実践内容は広がっており，その実践の質を高めていくには，地域課題を把握するためのアセスメントツールの開発や実践内容の明確化が今後の課題であることが明らかとなった．上記の内容を踏まえて、認知症地域支援推進員へのフォーカスグループインタビュー調査の内容および対象者に関する検討を重ねた.インタビューガイド作成し，倫理審査委員会より承認を受けた上で，協力が得られた認知症地域支援推進員へのフォーカスグループインタビューを実施した．2024年度の初旬に残り1回のフォーカスグループインタビュー調査を実施の上,分析を進めていく予定としている．
