项目摘要

子ども食堂を交流拠点とし、小学生と大学生の食生活向上の機会となる、食育プログラムとして、食育を題材とする漢字教材開発に取り組んだ。研究実施計画では、今後、交流拠点機能の検証をしていくが、今年度までで以下の通り、食育プログラムの開発と、現状の食育調査、交流機会の活性化（コロナ以前と同程度の交流機会の回復）を達成したところである。具体的内容として、３点を挙げる。①食育プログラム開発：6月から月に１回、専門の異なる3学部の学生から成る計6班が、共同作業によって、一つの食材をテーマに構成した「わたしは誰（何）でしょう」というクイズ形式の教材を作成、子ども食堂で教材を使って小学生に教授し、正解した小学生に、食材が漢字でデザインされた缶バッジを作成して配布した。食材、例えば「リンゴ」が分かった小学生に、漢字表記「林檎」とリンゴの絵を組み合わせたバッジを、その場で製作して渡すことで、小学生は食材の知識とともに漢字表記に親しみ、大学生は大学生間のピアエデュケーションとして、教育学の教授法、食物栄養学の食育、日本語学の漢字の知識を生かし、交流する。また、大学生はこれらのプログラムの成果を市民まつりや、近隣商業施設での展示紹介、子ども食堂を支援するA市職員等、広く一般にプログラム内容を発信する活動にも取り組んでいる。②食育調査：過年度の調査により、子ども食堂の小学生を対象とすると、統計処理が可能な調査対象を集められないことが判明していた。よって、今年度はWEBにより一般の男女に、子どものころの食について調査する形式で、食育調査を実施した（理由に詳述）。論文作成を進め、次年度は学会発表等、成果を発信したい。③交流機会：食育プログラム開発に加わる大学生を対象に、過年度同様、WEBアンケートを活動前と活動後に実施した。交流機会を活性化し、交流がどのような変化をもたらすのか、データを蓄積している。
