2022年度は、本研究の中心的な調査である、幼稚園・保育所・認定こども園等を対象にした質問紙調査の実施をもとに、調査から得られたデータの分析に取り掛かった。当初の計画では、2022年1月に質問紙調査の実施及びデータの収集を予定していたが、新型コロナウィルス感染拡大が急激に増えた時期にあたり、現場における感染対策の影響を受けたからか、回収率が伸び悩んだ。データの信憑性を担保するために、回収時期を延長したため、2022年5月ごろにデータの回収作業が完了した。得られたデータを因子分析等により分析を開始し、特に園長のリーダーシップの特性に注目しながら、組織の成長段階を規定する要因を仮定し、回答園の特色をカテゴリー分けした。特に、要因として注目される「長く働きやすく、成長を実感できる」要因と、「心理的安全性」の要因との掛け合わせによって、４つの分類を作成した。その分類の高低の組み合わせにより、それぞれの縁の特性をプロットして、園の特性を可視化している。現場の特徴の相違を今後の質的調査で明らかにしていくべく、回答園の特徴を整理した。2023年度には、この成長段階の特色を示す園群の中から、フィールド調査の対象を選定し、園の実態やマネジメントの状況、職員の関係性や管理職のリーダーシップのあり方の調査に入るため、その予備情報を整理した。また、インタビュー調査に向けたインタビューガイドの作成も完了し、研究倫理審査も通っている。
