本研究は、学校でのESD（持続可能な開発のための教育）推進のための手立ての一つである、ESDカレンダーと呼ばれる年間指導計画について、その収集及び分析を行っている。ESDカレンダーは、ESDと関連する各学年で学ぶ教科の学習内容を抽出・関係付けた年間指導計画のことを指し、ESDに取り組んでいる学校・教育委員会等で作成・運用されてきた。本研究の目的は、ESDカレンダーの収集及び分析、また、学校・教育委員会等のESDカレンダー作成者へのインタビューを通して、学校の教育課程におけるESD実践の位置づけについて明らかにするとともに、ESDに関係した年間指導計画の実践事例集を作成することを目的としている。そこで、①文献等で公開されているESDカレンダーの収集、②ESDに取り組んでいる学校・教育委員会等へのインタビュー調査の実施を、研究開始当初に計画した。2022年度は、2021年度に引き続き、文献等での調査を行うとともに、ESD実践に関連した年間指導計画を広く調査することとした。ESDに取り組んでいる学校・教育委員会等へのインタビューについては、新型コロナウイルス感染症等の影響により、調査をすることができなかった。ESDを実践している学校では、ESDカレンダーに限らず、ESDに関連した年間指導計画を作成している学校もあり、それらを含める形で、ESDに関連した年間指導計画の収集・分析を実施していきたい。
