项目摘要

本研究の目的は、日本史と世界史を融合した歴史教育を実現するために、それを目指した戦後における歴史授業の実践がいかなる特質を持つものであったのかを歴史教育学の観点から解明することを目指すものである。具体的には歴史教育実践史の中から日本史と世界史の融合を目指した授業実践を再評価し、その特質を明確化することで歴史を担当する教師の参考に資することを意図している。研究二年目の本年度においては、当初計画では主として1960年代～1980年代、1990年代～2000年代の歴史教育実践に関わる資料の調査・収集と分析、さらには2010年代の資料の調査・収集までを計画していた。しかし前年度からの新型コロナウイルス感染症の蔓延の影響もあるため、残されている1950年代までについて、さらに1960年代～1980年代、1990年代～2000年代の各時期で可能なものからの調査・収集と分析を進める方向で対応した。その結果、①1970年代から日本史と世界史を合わせた科目を実践するなど元高校教師で歴史授業実践において活躍した人物への聞き取り調査を実施して、その記録を公刊した。②1950年代までの時期における中学校での歴史授業実践に関わって入手した教科書資料について報告した。これは論文として発行の予定である。加えて、この歴史授業実践の学校プランを対象として分析を進めた結果も発行の予定である。また、③日本と世界の理解に関わる教育の資料収集を進める中で確認しえた国際理解に関わる雑誌資料についても報告をした。
