昨年度は主に①教師へのインタビュー調査の実施と分析、②「ゼロ・トレランス」及び「段階的指導」に関する文献調査を実施した。①教師へのインタビュー調査では、「段階的指導」を導入している学校の教師12名を対象に調査を実施した。調査結果から得られた主な知見として、調査校の教師は、「段階的指導」導入前は「生徒指導に対する保護者の理解が得られないと認識していたこと」、「生徒指導が教師の精神的な負担になっていたこと」等が示唆された。また、「段階的指導」導入後では、「教師は生徒指導を行う上で精神的負担や不安の軽減につながっていること」等が示唆された。これらの研究成果の発信は、学会発表及び学術雑誌への投稿にて行う予定である。②文献調査では、日本における「ゼロ・トレランス」と「段階的指導」の論じられ方に着目して分析をした。「段階的指導」は、日本で2006年に紹介されて以降、「ゼロ・トレランス」の概念に含まれて論じられてきたことからその具体的な指導内容、有効性や課題は「ゼロ・トレランス」の陰に隠れてしまったことが示唆された。また、それらの理由から今日にの学校の中には「段階的指導」を導入している学校があるにも関わらず、「ゼロ・トレランス＝段階的指導」の枠組みの中でしか検討されにくく、「段階的指導」の有効性や課題は詳細には検証されずに今日に至っていることが示唆された。これらの研究成果の発信は、学会発表にて行った。
