项目摘要

令和4年度は、引き続き接触確認アプリ（COCOA）を対象技術として取り上げ、危機対処に資する萌芽技術の認知と受容において、価値観や世界観に関わる要因がどのように関連するのかを実証的するために2つの研究を実施した。1つの目の研究では、価値観や世界観に関わる要因（文化的認知（個人主義、階層主義）、道徳基盤、穢れ忌避）を広く取り上げ、それらとCOCOAの認知（リスク認知、ベネフィット認知、性能への信頼感）と感情、受容態度との関連を探索的に検討した。その結果、文化的認知の要因との関連が認められ、個人主義的、階層主義的な人ほどCOCOAの受容しない態度をもつという関連があることを明らかにした。個人主義と技術の受容態度との関連は、先行研究の結果とも整合的であったが、階層主義と技術の受容態度との関連は、先行研究とは異なる結果であった。2つの目の研究では、健康観察アプリを対象技術として取り上げ、回答者の文化的認知の傾向（個人主義）に整合的な技術説明文を提示した際に、対象技術の受容態度がより肯定的になるかを検討した。その結果、実験操作に失敗し、実験刺激（技術説明文）が研究者側の事前想定と異なる内容として回答者に評価されており、主たる従属変数（受容態度など）においても、予測を支持する結果は得られなかった。この結果を受けて、令和5年度に再度実験的検討を行えるように、実験操作の失敗原因の特定作業を行い、それを踏まえた実験刺激の再作成の作業を行った。
