项目摘要

昨年度に導入した新しい眼球運動・瞳孔径測定装置を運用し，予備的な検討を行い，さらに，顔画像刺激を用いた実験を行った。測定は順調にできており，技術的な問題はない。顔画像を提示して顔魅力判断を実験課題として行ってもらう実験の結果，参加者が顔魅力を高く評定した場合には，顔魅力を低く評定した場合に比べて瞳孔径が相対的に大きくなるという結果が得られた。また，追加の分析として，顔画像にほくろがある場合の効果を検討した。瞳孔径に加えて，眼球運動測定結果による注視位置の分析により，ほくろと注意や瞳孔径の関係を検討したが，明確な関係はないという結果が得られた。これらの成果は，研究会において発表している。情景刺激を用いた実験については，刺激の選定を終え，実験の準備を進めている。情景画像の記憶しやすさについては既存のデータセットがあり，これを用いている。また，文献調査により，比較対象として記憶負荷による瞳孔径変動の個人差を同時に計測しておく必要性がありそうなことが判明した。そのため，記憶負荷の瞳孔径への影響を計測する実験を同時に実施することとし，こちらも準備を進めている。まもなく本実験を開始できる見込みである。このほか，各種関連学会で最新の研究動向を収集した結果，当初の計画にはなかったが本研究課題の主題に合致する興味深いテーマとして，聴覚刺激の影響があることが判明した。具体的には，視聴覚間相互作用や視聴覚間協応の効果を瞳孔径の計測により検討できる可能性があり，このテーマについても検討を進めたい。
